Luis G. Santos (b. 1995) is a Dominican American writer, director, and producer with demonstrated success in high-level execution of end-to-end production across commercial, film, live, and experiential projects. He has spearheaded work from inception to completion for Fortune 100 companies, including Nike, Netflix, Facebook, Target, Spotify, Delta, American Express, and Billboard, among others.
As a producer, Luis climbed the ranks within New York City’s most elite advertising companies (72&Sunny, Mother NY, McCann) while simultaneously building his commercial directing portfolio which includes brands and artists like the MTV VMAs, Madison Beer, Future, Jessie Reyes, J Balvin, and many more.
Luis’ writing for FILM & TV has granted him access to various highly competitive fellowships and residencies such as Mara Brock Akil’s Writer’s Colony Residency, Bleecker Street Media’s Mentorship Program, Amy Aniobi’s Tribe Writing Fellowship, AICP’s Mentorship Program, and Mike Guayo’s Black Boy Writes Mentorship Initiative, among others.
